LIVE: Pashinyan is being questioned in court

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is being questioned in relation to the incident involving members of the "Yelk" alliance and Arthur Ayvazyan, known by his nickname Manakh, who was sentenced in the October 27 case. It has been less than an hour since Pashinyan arrived at the Shengavit court of general jurisdiction in Yerevan.

It should be noted that Pashinyan has the status of a witness in this case.

Recall that, according to the indictment, Arthur Ayvazyan has been charged with publicly displaying blatant contempt for society on March 31, 2017, around 22:40, while committing violence against Hayk Sargsyan, a supporter of the "Yelk" alliance, thus grossly violating public order in the courtyard of building number 53 on Andranik Street.

It is important to mention that months ago, Ayvazyan's detention condition was changed to bail. Arthur Ayvazyan was released on February 16, 2017, from the Artik penitentiary after serving his 15-year sentence. He had been convicted for ordering and organizing the murder of one of the key witnesses in the October 27 case.
