Weather to Get Cold: Rain, Snow, and Blizzard Expected

On March 29-30, heavy snowfall is expected in the regions of Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, the mountainous areas of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, as well as in the foothills of Syunik and Artsakh, with blizzards in certain areas and low horizontal visibility.

On March 31, the strength of the cyclone will weaken; however, precipitation will continue.

In the territory of the Republic, light rainfall is expected on the afternoon of March 29, and periodically from March 30 to April 3, with snowfall in the mountainous and foothill areas and rain in the valley region.

The wind will blow from the northwest at 3-8 m/s.

The air temperature will decrease by 7-10 degrees during the daytime on March 29 and on March 30.

In Yerevan, occasional precipitation is expected on the afternoon of March 29, and from March 30 to April 3, with snowfall in high-altitude areas on the 30th.
