Updated: Snowfall on Roads

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of March 29, at 15:00, it is snowing on the highways in the regions of Artik, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Tumanyan, Sevan, and Goris, as well as in the Dilijan twist.

The Vardenis mountain pass is impassable for passenger vehicles and closed for heavy and articulated vehicles. Other interstate and republican highways are open.

Road construction crews are conducting snow removal and applying salt and sand on the roads.
