Suspect Who Stabbed Soldier Multiple Times and Fled Has Been Found

A little while ago, as a result of operational-search and investigative joint actions carried out by the officers of the Crime Investigation Department of the Yerevan City Police, the identity of the person who stabbed a serviceman at military unit N of the Ministry of Defense in the Nubarashen administrative district today, March 25, was clarified.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, around 03:30 AM, the Erebuni Medical Center informed the Erebuni Police that a citizen with "stab wounds to the left posterior chest surface, left lumbar region, and left buttock" was transferred to them.

The police determined that the injured individual was 29-year-old Arshak Danielyan, a resident of the Nubarashen administrative district, who, according to doctors, was unable to provide information about the incident.

While doctors at Erebuni Hospital were fighting for the life of the injured, which they succeeded in doing, Erebuni police officers and investigators discovered that Arshak Danielyan had been stabbed multiple times by 30-year-old Zaven Keshishyan, also a resident of Nubarashen, who fled the scene after the incident.

As a result of explanatory work conducted by police and investigators today, Zaven Keshishyan appeared at the investigative department accompanied by a lawyer.

According to the photojournalist, considering the degree of danger of the crime, representatives from the Erebuni and Nubarashen district prosecutor's offices also arrived promptly at the scene.
