VIDEO: Has this happened to you? Prime Minister to the Minister of Environment

“Has this happened to you, Mr. Grigoryan?” Today, during a government meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posed this question to the Minister of Environment, Erik Grigoryan.

The Prime Minister's inquiry arose when the Minister presented documents related to a loan repayment that was under his jurisdiction. The Minister noted, “There is an example of loan consumption in front of me. A loan of 2.3 million was granted to some organization for the purchase of a vehicle, with monthly payments starting from 12,000, the interest payment being 25,000, and the service fee being 32,000. The following month, the service fee is 43,000, and then again 43,000: the service fee is always higher than the interest repayment.”
