Extraordinary Session to Be Held in the National Assembly

During today’s meeting, the government decided to propose to the National Assembly to hold an extraordinary session after the regular session on March 26 to discuss the following issues:

• Amendments to the “Rules of Procedure” of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia
• Amendments and additions to the constitutional law on the “Constitutional Court” of the Republic of Armenia

The government suggests that the extraordinary session be held under special procedures, allowing for the adoption of laws on the second reading within 24 hours after the first reading.
