EU Allocates Grant to Armenia for New Science Complex Development
The EU and TUMO have partnered to construct a new complex for engineering and applied sciences. This was announced by Armenia's Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan.
Within the framework of the ‘European Union for Innovation’ program, the EU is providing a grant to Armenia to support educational reforms, which includes two key components. One of these is the establishment of a new center for engineering and applied sciences at the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies. The second component involves the development of educational standards and subject programs for mathematics and science subjects for grades 1-12 in the general education sector, including the creation of textbooks, their testing, and the training of teachers,” the minister wrote.
