Murder in Yerevan: 29-Year-Old Youth Dies Without Regaining Consciousness

Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports that a citizen was transported to Yerevan's Number 1 Heratsi Medical Center with a diagnosis of "extremely severe" condition after sustaining multiple stab wounds to the heart. At this moment, doctors are fighting for his life. An operational group from the Erebuni division of the police, led by Deputy Head Mamikon Hakobyan, has arrived at the hospital. The doctors informed the police that the injured individual is currently in the intensive care unit and is unable to provide any information about the incident.

The police determined that the victim was taken to the hospital from near the "Queen Burger" on Tigran Mets Avenue.

According to G. Shamshyan, the victim is 29-year-old Hambardzum Yezekyan, a resident of the Ajapnyak administrative district. A group from the Yerevan investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia has also arrived at the hospital, led by the head of the department, Justice Major General Arthur Goyunyan, who has formed an investigative team regarding the incident. The photographer also reports that Erebuni investigators, under the direction of A. Goyunyan, and the police from Erebuni, led by Head Vardan Vardanian, have already clarified the incident site, where blood-like traces and a knife were discovered.
