Monte Melkonyan Military School to Operate in Same Location Until Better Conditions Are Provided
The Monte Melkonyan military educational school will operate in the same location until better conditions are provided for the military education process. This was stated by Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Defense of Armenia, in an interview with NEWS.am, conveying Minister David Tonoyan's position regarding the recent discussions about the necessity of the Monte Melkonyan military educational school.
“If we hand over the building, we must have better conditions; until then, classes will continue,” said Hovhannisyan.
It is worth mentioning that in an interview with Armenpress, Defense Minister David Tonoyan noted that discussions are currently underway regarding moving the school to a facility that is more suitable for military training and, in terms of costs, more understandable. “Moreover, we have full agreement with the Prime Minister of the Republic on the issue that if the location of the school changes, the new complex must have the best possible conditions. The school will continue to operate, providing quality education and serving as a forge for the future officers of our army. I want to assure everyone, especially the students of the school and their parents, that any decision will be made in favor of the Monte Melkonyan graduates,” the minister emphasized.
