Individual Who Breached Armenia’s Border is Mentally Ill, Baku States
The Azerbaijani State Border Service has announced that Elvin Ibrahimov, a resident of the Gazakh region, who attempted to breach the Armenian border on the night of March 16, is mentally ill and classified as a second-group disabled person. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
Ibrahimov, born in 1986, is a resident of the village of Yukhar Salahli. Earlier, referring to the spokesperson of the Armenian Minister of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, we reported that on March 16, around 01:30, in the north-eastern border zone of Armenia, an unknown individual who had breached the state border of Armenia was discovered by Armenian border guards, warned, and subsequently neutralized after failing to comply with the warning.
After sustaining a gunshot wound to the lower extremities, he received first aid and was then transferred to a medical facility.
