Question to Hayk Marutyan: Will the Central District Mayor's Restaurant Be Demolished? - Avetik Ishkhanyan

Human rights defender and president of the Helsinki Committee of Armenia, Avetik Ishkhanyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Today, emotions have flared up regarding the demolition of cafes in the Opera area. The main argument of those in favor of demolition is the return of green spaces to Yerevan residents. Indeed, those who remember Yerevan first and foremost remember the parks—around the Opera, the Circular Park, the Victory Park, and the forest opposite it, etc. And, of course, there is no other word for it; it was barbaric to eliminate all this. But is it right today... Hopefully, the Yerevan City Hall will take a principled stance and demolish the structures in all the aforementioned areas, restoring the green spaces.

...What about the Hrazdan Gorge? Perhaps it is the favorite spot of Yerevan residents, which is both in and seemingly out of Yerevan, amidst wild nature. Therefore, the question to Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, Chief Architect Artur Meschyan, and first and foremost, Central District Mayor Viktor Mnatsakanyan:

- Will the restaurants in the Hrazdan Gorge be demolished, including the "Yerevan Nights" restaurant owned by Viktor Mnatsakanyan's family?"
