Materials Being Prepared on Two Protesters Against Cafe Demolition

During a protest against the demolition of cafes adjacent to the Opera House, 19 citizens participated, and administrative violation reports have been drawn up for 17 individuals detained by the police. Materials are being prepared in two cases.

In a conversation with Tert.am, Aravik Khachatryan, head of the public relations department of the RA Prosecutor General's Office, noted that materials are being prepared at the Central Police Department regarding two incidents of intentional property damage and violence against a representative of the authorities.

It is noteworthy that today, the Yerevan City Hall resumed the demolition of cafes in the area adjacent to the Opera. The employees of those cafes organized a protest, blocking Mashtots Avenue, leading to a scuffle between the police and demonstrators.
