22 Citizens Detained by Police

In the vicinity of an opera house, 22 citizens have been brought to various police stations in response to protests against the dismantling of nearby cafes. This information was reported to NEWS.am by the press service of the Armenian police.

“Of those detained, 6 have been released,” noted officials from the police press service.

It is worth mentioning that there was a scuffle between the police and protesters, resulting in 19 citizens being brought to different police departments; they were later released.
