Extraordinary Incident: Church Donations and Money from Candle Seller Stolen

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared in the investigation department of the Ashtarak division of the police regarding a theft that occurred yesterday, March 12, in the Aragatsotn region.

At around 9:00 AM, the Ashtarak police received a report from Priest Paruyr Mambrayanc confirming that a theft had taken place at the "Hovhanavank" church in the village of Ohanavan.

It was revealed that between March 11 at 6:30 PM and March 12 at 8:30 AM, an unknown person or persons forcibly broke the iron bars of the church window, entered the premises, and stole all the cash from the candle seller's table drawer as well as the church donation box.

Materials are being prepared in the investigation department of the Ashtarak division of the police regarding the incident.
