Emergency Incident in Lori Province: Tractor Rolls About 70 Meters into Ravine

An emergency incident occurred in Lori Province. Yesterday, on March 12, around 3:00 PM, during work at the area known as 'Gliznadzor' in the administrative territory of the Neghots community, the driver of a tractor belonging to 'T Contexshen' LLC, 54-year-old Derenik Galstyan from the village of Odzun, climbed onto the tractor to check its fuel. During this time, a soil slide occurred, causing the tractor to roll into the ravine, and the driver, D. Galstyan, also lost his balance and rolled approximately 70 meters down.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the emergency situation response unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene, led by Deputy Commander Kamo Galinyan, with one combat crew.

Rescue workers, citizens, and a nurse from the Alaverdi Medical Center provided first aid to the driver who had fallen into the ravine. After that, they retrieved him with great difficulty using a stretcher and brought him to the accessible area for an ambulance, which immediately transported the injured to the Alaverdi hospital.
