Turkish Police Remove Kurdish Pro-Kurdish Party Election Posters
In the Varto district of Mush, Turkish police have removed Kurdish election posters and banners of the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party (HDP). This has been reported by ermenihaber.am.
It is noted that the order to remove the election posters was given by the Varto Republican Prosecutor's Office.
The same action has occurred in Igdir, where dozens of Kurdish election posters, installed 15 days ago, were taken down by police personnel overnight. However, on the same day, activists of the pro-Kurdish party hung new Kurdish posters with different wording in Igdir.
Earlier reports indicated that HDP posters had also been removed in Siirt (Sghert), Agri, and Bitlis.
