The Prime Minister has nothing to do; should he deal with a few employees? says co-founder of 'Security Dream'

None of the employees of 'Security Dream' have been laid off. This was stated by co-founder Alexan Zakaryan in an interview with NEWS.am.

"They have merely received a notice from the director, asking them to explain why they did not report to work on the first of the month; in other words, this is a subject for discussion, clarify why you did not come to work. Let them clarify why they have mixed things up," said Alexan Zakaryan.

The co-founder mentioned that he is not aware if the access of employees who received the notice has been suspended or not. He did not deny that he had promised the employees that there would be no pressure on those participating in the protest, and there has been none.

"You have seen the videos; there were 50-100 people at the rally, and the director has questioned a few of them about why they did not report for work. This is the new director's business that he is conducting; what does it have to do with me? If the law has been violated, let them go to court; why are they addressing the Prime Minister? Does the Prime Minister have nothing to do, should he deal with a few employees?" he said, noting that Arthur Poghosyan has been appointed as the new director.

Alexan Zakaryan disclosed that they have dismissed former director Aram Glechyan due to dissatisfaction with his performance.

It should be noted that today, employees of 'Security Dream' have published an open letter addressed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"On March 1 of this year, learning that our director, Mr. Aram Glechyan, intends to leave his position, we gathered as a whole team to express our disagreement on this matter and conducted a signature campaign. Our director, responding to our request, announced that he would continue in his position. However, the founders of 'Security Dream,' Alexan and Gurgen Zakaryan, loyal to their Serzh Sargsyan oath, are intolerant of any criticism and expressions of dissent; targeting us and considering us the organizers of this gathering, they have blocked our electronic access point and prohibited our entry to the workplace as of March 5, effectively removing us from work.

Although, during the meeting with us on March 1, 2019, Alexan Zakaryan gave his word of honor that no one would be cut, and salaries would not be reduced, nonetheless, he is evidently implementing his treacherous plan, and it has become clear to us what the 'man’s' word of Alexan Zakaryan is worth.

The new director appointed by the Zakaryans, taking advantage of the situation and distorting the facts, has demanded from us in writing explanations about the reasons for our entire day's absence from work on January 1, 2019, even though it should have been obvious to lawyer Arthur Poghosyan, former head of the Arabkir investigative division, that the gathering held to express our opinion started around 2:00 PM and lasted for 2 hours; thus, the legal phenomenon of being absent from work the entire day simply does not exist," the open letter states.
