A Working Group Will Be Established for the Armenianization of YouTube: Hakob Arshakyan

Today, the Minister of Transport, Communication and IT Hakob Arshakyan addressed the issue of the Armenianization of online information platforms such as YouTube and Google during a conversation with journalists.

"Initiatives have always been welcomed. It is important that our bloggers, who are the main stakeholders in the Armenianization of YouTube, have highlighted the issue. They created videos and presented the problem in a knowledgeable manner. We will establish a working group and begin to implement state mechanisms to create opportunities for bloggers and entrepreneurs to make use of that informational opportunity," the minister noted.

The minister mentioned that this process is linked to the development of the technology sector, making Armenia known on the world map, and creating new business models. In his opinion, this work will have an impact.
