Election of Executive Director of Public Radio Delayed
The election of the Executive Director of Public Radio has been postponed. The name of the winner was supposed to be announced today, March 11, but the chairman of the temporary selection committee, Yervand Yerznkyan, has appealed to the Council of Public Television and Radio, proposing to extend the deadline for reviewing the candidates' documents and making a decision on the winner by an additional 20 working days.
The reason for such a decision is likely the large number of contestants (30 individuals). This information is reported by 'Armenian Times'.
In an interview with the media, the secretary of the Council of Public Television and Radio, Levon Galstyan, stated that tomorrow, March 12, at 11:00 AM, the participants of the competition will be invited in turn to meet with the members of the committee, where they will have discussions and become more familiar with each candidate's submitted program, in order to gain a clearer understanding.
