Vardenyats Pass Closed, Karvachar Road Difficult to Navigate
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 8, at 08:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and is difficult to navigate for other vehicles.
The Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to navigate for trucks.
There are patches of black ice on inter-community roads in the Ani, Amasia, and Ashotsk regions of Shirak province.
Snow is falling in the Syunik province.
Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
On March 8, blasting work will be carried out on the M-6 highway at the 54th km of the Vanadzor-Bagratashen section, causing the road section to be closed from 13:00 to 19:00.
Construction works are taking place on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi highway from the 39th km to Bagratashen.

1. Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koghes-Aygehats-Odzun-Alaverdi via sections towards the border of Georgia.
