Prosecutor's Office Gifts Ahead of March 8: Tehmine Yenokyan

Journalist Tehmine Yenokyan wrote on her Facebook page: "Ahead of March 8, the Prosecutor's Office has given a gift... They have suspended the criminal case against Electric Yerevan. This is the best description of our rule of law during the post-revolutionary period. The justification is that they cannot find the people in those pictures. During the Electric Yerevan events, more than 40 individuals passed in front of my camera, who applied the most brutal violence against citizens.

Let me remind you that these cases are pending in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). This approach will lead to yet another hefty sum being paid out from the state budget as compensation. Our own tax payments will be used to compensate us for the violations of our rights."
