Blocked and Difficult Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 8 at 21:00, there are blocked and difficult roads across the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks with trailers and is difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

The Sotk-Karmiravan road is impassable for trucks.

In the Shirak region, there are patches of black ice on intercommunity roads in the Ani, Amasia, and Ashotsk districts.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to trucks but open for passenger vehicles.
