Photos: Mercedes Found in a Mudslide

Today, around 17:30, the Shirak region’s rescue department received a report from the traffic police regarding a vehicle that had been discovered overturned in a mudslide near the area known as Jardi Dzor on the Gyumri-Vanadzor highway. Rescue workers were dispatched to the scene and found that there was no one inside the vehicle.

Later, it was revealed that the car was en route to Gyumri when it struck the roadside barriers, veered off the roadway, and ended up not in a mudslide but on the other side of the barriers. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle fell into the mudslide while being towed out. The towing ring of the vehicle broke off, causing it to plunge down a ravine that is up to 10 meters deep.
