Fatal Accident in Armavir Province: Victim Dies Without Regaining Consciousness
A serious and tragic car accident occurred in Armavir Province. Yesterday, around 10:30 PM, 33-year-old Mahir Safoyan, a resident of Parakar village, was driving his Mercedes with the license plate 35 ZR 734 in the administrative area of Parakar, near a winery owned by former MP Arakel Movsesyan. As he was heading towards the Yerevan-Armyvir highway, he veered off the roadway, crashed into trees, and ended up in the middle of the road. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, two individuals were taken to medical facilities due to bodily injuries. One was transported to the Vagharshapat Medical Center, while the other, who had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters from the Ministry of Emergency Situations using special equipment, was taken to the Astghik Medical Center.
While the traffic police investigator from the 2nd investigation department examined the accident site, Arman Vardanian, the head of the duty division of the Ejmiatsin Police Department, and community police officer Sahak Hovhannisyan secured the scene for the investigator's examination. A call was received from the Astghik Medical Center that the injured person had died without regaining consciousness.
