Alexis Ohanian, Leaders from Google, Amazon, and Facebook to Visit Armenia

From October 6-9, the global IT conference will take place in Yerevan, featuring Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, as well as Acer founder Stan Shih. The theme of WCIT 2019 is "The Power of Decentralization."

Oral agreements have been reached for participation from the leaders of Amazon, Google, and Facebook.

The decision to host the conference in Armenia was made in 2015, between the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
