Tsarukyan is in "multivector" political games: Irates

Irates newspaper writes: “The parliamentary opposition is undergoing interesting transformations: On the eve of parliamentary elections, the fragmented Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and the Bright Armenia Party (LAK) are organizing evenings of rapprochement, ready to present their past and present grievances to the public.

BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan is involved in “multivector” political games.

On one hand, he is carrying the “pain” of Nikol Pashinyan and earning a reputation as a property owner, while on the other hand, he is beginning to smooth relations with the LAK. According to our information, Gagik Tsarukyan recently met with LAK faction member Arman Babajanyan. Tsarukyan initially expressed dissatisfaction with Pashinyan, particularly regarding the situation surrounding his gas stations and cement plant, then “opened up” and said that it would be better for the two parliamentary opposition forces to unite and act together against Nikol Pashinyan.

However, this was not the only topic of conversation. Gagik Tsarukyan also discussed the case of his former bodyguard, now MP Eduard Babayan. According to reports, Arman Babajanyan assured him that if the issue reaches the National Assembly, the LAK will declare that it is political persecution.

Incidentally, according to the same information, Gagik Tsarukyan has recently met several times with Sedrak Kocharyan, the son of Robert Kocharyan. He stated that the BHK leader is attempting to build a “both-and” political strategy with everyone, but for some reason, it always comes back to an “either-or”.
