30 Candidates for the Position of Director of Public Radio: Who Will Compete?
The "Hayeli" newspaper reports that there are 30 candidates for the vacant position of Executive Director of Public Radio. It is perhaps surprising that such a high number of individuals have put their names forward for this position.
Among the 30 candidates, there are some notable names, such as linguist Lavrenti Mirzoyan, Yerevan City Council member Artur Isperyan, and composer Marina Tagakchyan, among others. However, according to sources from "Hayeli," it is not excluded that this competition might not take place due to certain legal issues. If, nevertheless, the competition proceeds, sources suggest that the main struggle will be between two candidates, Garegin Khumaryan and Stepan Zakaryan.
Moreover, based on our information, Khumaryan has the greatest chance of becoming the Director of Public Radio as he is relatively young but at the same time has been one of the veterans in the radio industry.
