21-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian Crossing at Unauthorized Section

Today in Yerevan: Around 21:30, Roman Ohanyan, a 21-year-old resident of the Nor Nork administrative district, struck a pedestrian with his Chevrolet, license plate 23 TS 890, on Gay Avenue near the "Yerevan City" store while the pedestrian was crossing in an unauthorized area.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and assisted the injured pedestrian by promptly transporting them via an ambulance from Yerevan's 1-03 emergency medical service to St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center.
