Video: We Will Not Give Up an Inch of Land, Vanyan Says in Artsakh

A new residential area consisting of 150 houses will be constructed in the Arax Valley in southern Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh Public Television, adding that the authorities of Artsakh have presented the resettlement project in the southern region to Arthur Vanyan, the Director of the National Security Service of Armenia.

According to the project, each of the new residential units will have 3 rooms and a 1200 square meter plot of land. Public, social, and sports facilities will also be built in the area.

Upon reviewing the resettlement program, Vanyan described it as a fundamental guarantee of the country's security.

“It is constantly being speculated that lands will be returned, negotiations will happen, concessions will be made, and so on. As a result of implementing this project, we are sending a clear message to our people and the world that we have no intention of giving up an inch of land. Our compatriots should live on our land and flourish our country,” Vanyan stated.

The future settlement being built on the banks of the Arax will be named Araxavan. The project is already on paper, and what remains is funding.
