Shootout Near School in Nizhny Novgorod Targets Armenian Couple
An unknown assailant opened fire on an Armenian couple near a school in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. This was reported by the television channel "360."
"There had been some sort of argument, and they attacked the Armenians with firearms. The two were driving in a car when they were ambushed. The victims tried to flee and entered the school building. They were Armenians, a man and a woman, and the man was injured. They hid in the school and called the police, while the victims were transported to the hospital. The school's administration has not commented on the incident. Experts are working in the area around the shot-up vehicle," an eyewitness recounted.
A representative of the Rosgvardiya confirmed to media outlets that the suspects in the shooting had been arrested.
Preliminary reports indicate that the shooting near School No. 121 in Nizhny Novgorod was the result of a criminal dispute.
