Photoreport: Major Accident Involving New Yerevan-Gyumri Electric Train and Ford

A serious incident occurred in the Aragatsotn province today. On March 1st, around 14:00, a Ford, driven by Suren Harutyunyan, with the license plate 35 VV 618, collided with a new Yerevan-Gyumri electric train, identified as ЭП2Д 0003, driven by Yeghrjem Vardanyan, on the tracks adjacent to the 23rd km of the Armavir-Gyumri highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary information indicates that fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries. The electric train had recently arrived in Armenia and was in pristine condition, servicing the Yerevan-Gyumri route. Thankfully, there were no passengers on board the train.
