Construction Hoist Falls in Yerevan, Injuries Reported
On March 1, at 18:02, the 911 service received information that a hoist at 58/1 Ohanovi Street in Yerevan had detached, with a citizen inside requiring rescue assistance.
A firefighting rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, and a psychological counselor from the Psychological Support Division were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the construction hoist of a partially constructed building had fallen from the fifth floor to the first floor, resulting in injuries to three individuals.
Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, H.H. (born in 1985) and A.S. (born in 1986) were hospitalized at Astghik Medical Center.
Rescuers assisted N.P. (born in 1971) to an ambulance. He was also hospitalized at Astghik Medical Center, where doctors assessed the condition of the injured as serious.
