The Decision to Arrest Aram Danielyan Was Made Back in July: Fact

The newspaper "Fact" reports, "The arrest of former Hrazdan mayor Aram Danielyan is considered by some as yet another political vendetta by the authorities against those associated with the 'former regime.' Accordingly, it is viewed as simply a political decision.

Notably, according to information from the "Fact" newspaper, the current authorities had made the decision to arrest Danielyan back in late July 2018, however, they decided not to create unnecessary tension at that stage.

According to one of our sources, who has been in politics for many years and wished to remain anonymous, Pashinyan and his allies still cannot forget their first political defeat when Sassoun Mikayelyan lost to Aram Danielyan in Hrazdan.

As for activating this topic at this time, our sources assert that there is an attempt to keep the public 'in line' ahead of March 1, until further actions are clarified.
