Robbery at the Holy Catholic Church: Details

The Investigative Department of the Hrazdan Police is preparing materials regarding a theft that occurred on February 26 at the Kecharis Monastery in the city of Tsaghkadzor.

According to Shamshyan.com, at around 6:30 PM, a 58-year-old resident of Hrazdan, Harutyun Harutyunyan, reported to the Tsaghkadzor Police Department that on the same day, between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM, an unknown person or persons stole money from the donation box of the Kecharis Monastery.

Police from the Hrazdan and Tsaghkadzor departments arrived at the crime scene.

It was determined that the theft did not take place at the Kecharis Monastery as indicated by Harutyunyan, but rather at the nearby Holy Catholic Church, whose door was found to be open.
