How the Azerbaijani Collection of Fairy Tales Emerged in Armenia: Clarification from the Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education has provided clarifications regarding the collection of Azerbaijani fairy tales and stories that recently surfaced in the country.

It should be noted that the website "168.am" reported on the collection. In response to numerous media inquiries, the Ministry of Education clarified that the publications were released as part of a program carried out by the "Save the Children" organization, aimed at teaching children tolerance.

The book is intended for teachers and was approved for publication by the Ministry of Education back in 2008, with the National Institute of the same ministry serving as a guarantor.

The collection includes stories written for three countries (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan) based on Russian-language scenarios. In 2016, the collection was republished in Armenia as part of a program for the integration of children from Syria, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In 2019, the collection was again republished, this time by the Armenian Red Cross as part of an educational program.
