Taxi Collides with Sanitek Garbage Truck, Injuries Reported

On February 27th at 03:56, the emergency services received a call reporting an accident near building 21 on Rubinyants street in Yerevan, with injuries reported and the need for rescue services.

This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a “Lada” vehicle belonging to the “Jrvezh” taxi service (driver: S. B.) had left the roadway and collided with a parked “Volvo” garbage truck belonging to the Sanitek company (driver: A. M.).

Rescue workers transported the passenger (employee) A. M. (born in 1987) and driver S. B. (born in 1958) to the hospital. They were admitted to “Heratsi” #1 University Hospital and “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” Medical Center. Doctors assessed the health condition of the injured as serious.

Rescue services disconnected the “Lada” vehicle, closed the gas cylinder valve, and secured the area.
