My Step Holds Closed-Door Meeting
In the National Assembly today, a closed-door meeting of the "My Step" faction took place. After the meeting, the faction's secretary Hakob Simidyan confirmed that the preparations for a march scheduled for March 1 had been discussed.
When asked if there had been instructions to "bring people in," Simidyan responded, "This issue has been discussed in the context of informing, but nothing more."
In response to a journalist's observation that the previous march had minimal participation and perhaps there were concerns, Simidyan said, "We have no worries that would lead us to put the issue of 'bringing people' in front of us as you suggested."
Simidyan informed that they have notified the city hall that a march will begin from Freedom Square at 18:30 on March 1, which will also be attended by the Armenian National Congress (ANC).
In response to our question, the MP noted that during its entire activity, the Central Committee (CC) has commemorated the memory of the victims of March 1.
