The Issue of Nagorno-Karabakh is Resolved for Armenians, Says Gajiyev

Azerbaijani journalist and editor of the "Turan" information agency, Khaykin Gajiyev, who visited Armenia, spoke about the Armenian perspective on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

“People in Armenia are not very interested in politics. As for the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, they accept the state’s position that Nagorno-Karabakh is ours, and we will not give it up. There is no enthusiasm in society regarding negotiations; they believe that the issue has already been resolved,” Gajiyev said in an interview with the BBC Azerbaijani service.

The journalist also added that the concept of preparing the citizens of both countries for peace is difficult to implement, as the parties lack trust in each other.
