The assistant to the Prime Minister, Nairi Sargsyan, has written on his Facebook page: "A photo of a barefoot child standing in the snow is spreading rapidly on Facebook. Although many users in the comments have noted that the photo was taken in Romania, people continue to share it, with some criticizing the authorities.

The page administrator also knows that the individuals in the photo are not Armenians, as they had posted a video taken in the same location three days ago.

Sadly, there are still extremely poor families in Armenia, but I urge you to read the comments before sharing the photo to avoid unintentionally becoming a spreader of fake news."
