17-Year-Old Student Stabs Schoolboy and Another Student in Churchyard

On February 23, a dispute and stabbing incident occurred in the Ararat region. At around 14:20, the police received a report from the "Surp Asdvadzadzin" Medical Center in Yerevan that two individuals with bodily injuries had been transported there.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Masis division of police was dispatched to the hospital. The police discovered that the victims were residents of the village of Ghukasavan in the Ararat region: 17-year-old Armen K. and 17-year-old Aram G., who reported in the hospital that they did not remember where they had been stabbed.

Investigations revealed that the altercation took place around 13:00 near the church in the village of Ghukasavan, during which 17-year-old Haik A. from the city of Masis attacked Arsen K. and Aram G. with a knife, inflicting wounds on various parts of their bodies. While doctors were fighting for the victims' lives, hours later, following explanatory work by the Ararat region police, suspect Haik A. voluntarily presented himself to the Masis police station.

According to media reports, victim Arsen K. is a student in the 11th grade of their village's secondary school, Aram G. is in the second year of an engineering college, while Haik A. is in the second year of an agricultural college in Masis.
