I Can Visit Everyone: Zeynalayan Did Not Deny Attempting to Meet Robert Kocharian

Today, during a press conference, Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalayan neither confirmed nor denied the information that he tried to meet with Robert Kocharian, who allegedly rejected the meeting. “If I reveal the reasons why he rejected, it means I am already agreeing with your assertion that I have either met or not met,” he stated.

Zeynalayan reminded that penitentiary institutions fall under his jurisdiction: “I can visit everyone and become familiar with the conditions. As for whom I have met and under what conditions, that is not information subject to publication. I neither confirm nor deny it, because this information is confidential.”
