Some Roads in Ararat Province to Be Renovated

Several roadways in Ararat Province are set to undergo renovations. This was reported to SHANTNEWS.am by the Ararat Regional Administration. It is announced that restoration work is planned to begin on the 2.0 km section of the Norashen-Dvin highway in the near future.

“Just weeks ago, residents of the Dvin community blocked the North-South Highway, demanding the renovation of the road connecting their village with nearby communities. According to the villagers, it has not been repaired in the past 40 years,” the report states.

The Regional Administration has also stated that soon the 1.0 km segment of the Artashat-Veern Artashat-Norashen road, the Degdzut road section, the 2.3 km stretch of the Artashat-Veern Artashat-Hnaberd-Getazat road, as well as the road section in the Aygezard community will be improved.
