Mother Tongue is Your Honor and Identity: Paylan's Call

The Armenian lawmaker from Turkey's pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Garo Paylan, made a post in Armenian and Turkish on his Twitter account in honor of the "International Mother Language Day."

The deputy called for the development of the mother tongue, stating: "The mother tongue is peace. The mother tongue is justice. The mother tongue is solidarity, equality. The mother tongue is identity, it is your honor... Develop your mother language!"
