Hooliganism at a Bar in Yerevan: 5 Young People Detained

On February 18, at 01:00 AM, a report concerning hooliganism was received by the operational management center of the Yerevan police department.

According to the press service of the Armenian police, at 01:30 AM the police of the Yerevan city department's 3rd battalion detained 5 young individuals suspected of hooliganism at a bar located on Tumanyan Street. During the search of one of them, a pistol with a magazine containing 2 bullets was discovered.

At 01:45 AM, a report was received at the police station from the director of the respective bar, stating that at 00:03 AM on the same day, the 5 young individuals had deliberately disrupted the normal operation of the bar, showing blatant disrespect towards the public and intentionally damaging the bar's property. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed. Forensic examinations have been ordered.
