Armed Robbery in Yerevan: Thieves Strangle Shop Employee and Steal Money

Today, around 13:30, two young men entered an official representative office of a company importing concentrates, yogurts, and premixes located at the intersection of Leninakan and Sebastia streets in Yerevan, committing an armed robbery. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, the assailants approached the shop employee, caught him off guard, and threw a rope around his neck, threatening him to steal a large sum of money he had on him.

According to Shamshyan’s information, the attackers were not wearing masks and managed to steal approximately 700,000 drams from the store's warehouse.
