Interesting Developments in the List of One Thousand Major Taxpayers

The newspaper "Zhoghavorud" reports: "The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has published the list of the one thousand major taxpayers for 2018. Based on the results of the last quarter of the previous year, the list has undergone intriguing changes.

The list of one thousand major taxpayers is headed by the local tobacco producer "Grand Tobacco," which contributed 42 billion 222 million 227 thousand drams to the state budget. Notably, "Armenian Electric Networks" LLC has reduced its taxes by 50 percent.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, the company ranked third among the one thousand major taxpayers, paying 22 billion 36 million drams in taxes, but in the previous year's January-December period, it dropped to 11th place, having paid 12 billion 69 million drams."
