I Would At Least Not Speak About Education in Their Place: Araik Harutyunyan's Strong Response to the ARF

The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: 'Discussions on the government's program began in the National Assembly yesterday, with the parliamentary opposition groups—'Bright Armenia' and 'Luminous Armenia'—hinting at not voting in favor of this program.

At the same time, the ARF (Armenian Revolutionary Federation) has criticized the government's program from outside the parliament. In their statement, the party mentioned that there are shortcomings in the areas of cultural, educational, scientific development, and connections with the Diaspora in the government's program.

However, Minister of Education Araik Harutyunyan has strongly responded to the ARF in an interview with 'Zhoghovurd'. He stated, 'The ARF should remember how long its representative has been in charge of that sector and what a disastrous state it is in. If I were in their place, I would at least not speak about education.'

Regarding the issue of balancing the powers of the government, Harutyunyan noted that they share that perspective: 'We just need to find the mechanisms.'
