Armen Sarkissian to Visit Munich

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, will be making a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany to participate in the official opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference. This was reported by the President's press service.

The Munich Security Conference is a prestigious and influential platform that brings together leaders of numerous countries and governments, political and public figures, diplomats, and security sector experts under one roof every year. At this representative conference, issues related to international security are discussed, reflecting the current challenges in the field.

During the conference, President Armen Sarkissian will hold a series of meetings with his counterparts from various countries and other high-ranking officials.

During the working visit, the President of the Republic will also visit Heidelberg University, Germany's oldest university, where he will deliver a speech and then respond to questions from the attendees. President Armen Sarkissian will also meet with scientific and business circles during the visit and will tour the European Southern Observatory, one of the largest centers for astronomical research in the world.
