Baku Authorities Deny Rally Demanding 'Return of Karabakh'

The Baku city administration in Azerbaijan has prohibited a rally demanding the 'adoption of decisive measures for the liberation of occupied territories.' This was reported by the Turan news agency.

The rally was organized by the 'Karabakh' public committee, and it was scheduled to take place on February 16.

The city administration's decision stated that 'President Ilham Aliyev is taking necessary steps to restore the territorial integrity of the country. This is being done both inside and outside of Azerbaijan, in accordance with national interests.'

The 'Karabakh' public committee was formed in Azerbaijan in 2018 and includes 17 public organizations.
