Snowfall on Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 11, at 17:00, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to pass due to black ice.

In the Ushik region of Aragatsotn Province, black ice is present in some areas of the winding roads.

Snow is falling in the cities of Abovyan and Charentsavan in Kotayk Province, as well as in Spitak and Vanadzor in Lori Province, and in the regions of Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province.

There is fog in the Spitak winding roads.

Drivers are advised to travel only on winter tires.
